CHANGE THE TITLE OF YOUR BLOG ON BLOGGER

Title is the first thing viewers and readers see when they visit your blog. As such, it should be enticing, attractive and mind blowing.  This title allures users of search engines like Google, Bing, Ask, Yahoo Answers to select your work for read in a pull of so many others.  

It is therefore imperative that a blogger title should go an extra mile to make this better. The need to change or edit your blog title may arise if you need one that best describes your blog after a change of content or to improve on the old one.   

Below are steps of editing your blogger title:

1. The first thing you need to do is to construct a title that clearly describes your blog.  As mentioned earlier, it should be captivating, interesting, mind blowing, personal, out of the norm and dynamic.  Possibly write it down, and then proceed. 
2. Log into blogger.com using your username and password (click HERE to find out how to own a blogger account).  Locate your dashboard to find your current blogs and posts.
3. On the left hand side of the dashboard page click on “settings” in the main information box.
4. Type your new blog title.
5. Ensure that the new title appears as perfect as you want it by clicking the new title for spelling errors before you post.  This you can do using shortcut on your blogger dashboard.
6. Find and click “save setting” at the bottom of the page to save your blogs new title.
7. Check your blog title yourself online, this ensures that your title is perfect with a double assurance as you did in step (5) above.  Repeat the process if the title is not yet as you need it or anytime there is a need for a title change.

Note: this should not be done frequently – only when dire necessary – so not to confuse your followers/readers.

HOW TO OWN A BLOGGER ACCOUNT

Many times people who are new to the internet and some who have been around without being the savvies will always pose the question “what is blogger?”  To be able to explain this, it is pertinent to explain what a blog is.

Weblog or blog is an ongoing regularly updated entries or posts maintained by a person on a selected topic, majority of blogs on the internet feature a community, links and comments to other pages, articles or sites. Blogs are maintained by one person the owner of the blog -if a personal blog- and  more frequently updated than other sites and centres on a specific topic best known to the blogger (person now).  Types of blog ranges from personal, niche, to corporate blogs.  Blogs can be hosted on free or paid platforms. without gainsaying, one can do virtually anything on a blog -even make money- without much hassle.

Having explained that, now what is a blogger?  As explained above, a blogger is used to refer to a person who owns and updates a blog, but am not referring to this.  Blogger under this context, is a free blog platform made available to whoever wants it free of charge (FOC) by Google.  All you need do is to own an account with Google usually an email account or any of their numerous accounts such as youtube, Google+ and so on.

Below are guidelines on how to own a blogger account:

1. In your browser, go to gmail.com
2. Click on create an account to get your email id and password.  This can also be done using your phone.
3. Go to blogger.com, type in your email address and password as created above.
4. There you are. You now have a blogger account.
