OWN A ZENITH BANK INSTANT CARD IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR

Published by Unknown on Friday 6 December 2013  |  1 comment

In my last two posts, i explained THE BENEFITS OF OWNING AN INSTANT CARD and in extension my last post centered on ZENITH BANK VIRTUAL ACCOUNT CARD. In continuation, I will take you through how to own a Zenith Bank card in less than one hour.

This as easy as walking into any branch of Zenith Bank, locating their customer service section and making a request for an online/instant card. Remember, for ease of service you should make handy a passport photograph, your means of identification, Recent utility bill and cash for initial deposit.  Means of identification could be a valid National identification (ID) card, a valid driver’s license or a valid international ID.  Recall I used valid in all because anything short like expired card, torn or illegible card will not be accepted.

The Customer service officer will issue you a form where you fill in your particulars such as Name, Address, Occupation, desired name on card and so on, just the basic of your particulars.  Attach your passport size photograph and submit to the officer.  The officer will demand for your ID card and utility bill. This will be photocopied and original returned back to you.  After that you will be issued a teller to make your first deposit.  This can be any amount but ten thousand Naira (10,000) for a start will be good.  That is it, you are almost done.

Return to the account officer for your card and passwords after payment. Guess what? You are done!  You will be given two passwords one for ATM and Point of sale (POS) usage, the other is for online payment.  The ATM or  POS password, you can activate by changing your default password at any Zenith Bank ATM. The online password you will change online via Zenith Bank website.  Though you can still make use of the card online without changing the password or registering your card but whenever a transaction is made exceeding a stipulated amount, you will be prompted to do so.  My next post will be on UBA Africard.
